SHS students in Mr. Herink’s Building Construction class recently partnered with a Somerset family to build an ice shack for them! Beyond construction skills students engaged in the planning process and calculating billing! We love making community partnerships!
Today students in all three buildings welcomed Okello Sam, an Ugandan musician and cultural presenter! These interactive sessions shared the music, instruments and culture of Okello Sam's home country. Thank you to Rachel Erickson for organizing and Somerset Music Boosters for funding this awesome experience!
Woo-hoo! Our track team officially started practice this week and are training on a BRAND NEW, SAFE TRACK! 💫
We will host 2 home track meets this year--April 10 and May 22! We would love to see you there! Thank you to the Somerset community for making this happen!

Due to the Winter Storm Warning and high confidence levels for 5-9 inches of snow and high winds causing low visibility and treacherous road conditions the Somerset School District will be closed on Wednesday March 5. Spartan Kids Club will be closed as well. After school activities TBD. Thank you!

On Tuesday, February 18 the Somerset School District will have a 2-Hour Delay due to the chilly temperatures. There will be no morning JK, no Zero Hour. School Age Care will open at its regular time. Thank you!
Congrats to our SHS Baseball Coach, Zac Eichten! Zac recently received the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association 2025 "Ethics in Coaching" award. This award is given to one Wisconsin baseball coach annually who displays respect, character, integrity, and class. Way to go Coach Eichten!
