The Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department's purpose is to increase student achievement and meet the District's goals of academic growth, shared leadership, and a student-centered climate based on common goals. The department facilitates the implementation of what students should learn (the curriculum), how we measure student learning (the assessment), and how we respond when students do/do not learn (the instruction).
The department supports the District's professional development program, Professional Learning Communities, teacher mentor program, local and state assessment programs, and other initiatives related to school and District efforts in teaching and learning.
