It was a sweet morning at SES! We had our final read-a-thon celebration where first-grade student and highest minute reader, Bailey, got to "PIE" our SRO, Officer Kerber! Bailey read 3, 040 minutes! It has been a fantastic year of celebrating our awesome readers! Thank you for being such a great sport, Officer Kerber!

Friday was SES Service Learning Project Day. Students made 700 sandwiches, which was 176 pounds of food! The kindergartners decorated the entire Somerset Food Pantry with art, about 100 pictures of snowmen! The junior kindergartners made adorable “made with love” stickers for the sandwich bags! Thank you to every staff member and student that participated in the all school service learning project! Way to go SES Spartans!

Second grade scientists got stranded on a deserted island!!! "We had to protect our faces from the sun but only had kitchen supplies in our boat to make a hat!" The kids planned, prepped and problem solved! Way to go Super Spartan Scientists!
